Nyzjon Jefferson
Originally from San Diego, Nyzjon discovered his passion for surfing at 14, thanks to his bible study leader. Since becoming a surf instructor in 2018, he has loved sharing the tradition with others, saying, “I love seeing people gain a new passion and connection to surfing.” Now a student at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, Nyzjon embraces the rich culture of Hawai’i and speaks both ‘Ōlelo Hawai’i and Spanish.

When he’s not studying or teaching, Nyzjon enjoys playing video games, swimming, diving, paddleboarding, bodysurfing, and bodyboarding, further deepening his bond with the ocean.
