Mark Moderski
Mark is a seasoned surfer who has traveled across the globe: “I was born in one place, but life has taken me through many journeys—college, years abroad, and time spent living on different shores. My roots are spread across the world.”
His surfing journey, however, began on the southern shores of New Jersey, where he first felt the pull of the ocean. Diving into the world of surfing has since become a profound metaphor for his life. Mark views the ebb and flow of the ocean as a reflection of life’s ups and downs, teaching him resilience and the importance of staying present.
“The ebb and flow of the ocean mirrors the ups and downs we all face—sometimes the waves are gentle, other times they’re fierce, but you learn to keep paddling.”

As a surf instructor, he finds helping others overcome challenges and their own limiting beliefs most rewarding. For Mark, the water is a sanctuary, free from distractions, where the pure experience of being alive can be fully embraced.
