Kevin Jang
Kevin first caught the surfing bug at a friend’s sleepover in seventh grade when he was woken up early with the news that they were heading to the beach. Since then, watersports have become an integral part of his life: “Bodyboarding, longboarding, shortboarding, body surfing—anything to do with the water, I’m in!”
With over a decade of experience, Kevin has been teaching surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and bodyboarding. He finds the most joy in witnessing "the Stoke" when his students stand up on a wave for the first time.
Born and raised in Hawai’i as a first-generation Korean American, Kevin grew up speaking Korean at home. After spending time in Japan and Korea, he developed a passion for travel and hopes to explore a new destination every year. When he’s not discovering new places, Kevin is dedicated to teaching students from around the world the art of surfing, sharing his love for the ocean and adventure.
