Expect each lesson to be arranged according to your skill level, with paddle boarding tips that range from maintaining balance to making smooth turns. Here’s the overview:
Maintaining Balance: Your stance on the board is crucial. We’ll show you how to position your feet parallel, about hip-width apart, near the center of the board. Bending your knees slightly will help you absorb any shifts in water movement to enhance your stability.
Mastering the Paddle: Understanding how to use a paddle board involves mastering the paddle itself. You’ll learn the proper grip and paddling techniques to ensure each stroke is powerful and efficient. This includes the forward stroke for propulsion, the reverse stroke for slowing down or turning, and the sweep stroke for changing directions.
Making Smooth Turns: Turning might seem challenging at first. However, with our paddle boarding tips, you’ll be executing smooth turns in no time. We’ll introduce you to techniques like the sweep stroke and the cross-bow turn, focusing on body movement and paddle positioning.
Safety and Etiquette: Knowledge of water safety and paddle boarding etiquette is important for every enthusiast. We ensure you’re well-informed and prepared, from understanding right-of-way on the water to recognizing safe conditions for paddleboarding.
All prices include stand-up paddleboards, paddles, and all the equipment you need. Just bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes, and you’re ready to start your adventure in stand-up paddle boarding.
