Roland’s first wave was at Canoes surf break, riding on the front of his dad’s board at just 3 years old. Since becoming an instructor in 2018, Roland has found meaning in helping others discover their potential on the waves. For him, witnessing the moment when someone catches their first wave and realizes they can surf is unmatched.
