Do you have staff trained to welcome guests with autism?

Yes! At Ohana Surf Project, our staff is trained to welcome and work with everyone, regardless of their physical or mental needs. We encourage anyone interested in surfing to join us on the water. Our team is dedicated to creating a respectful, inclusive experience for all and will always adjust to support individual needs if informed. We've also had the privilege of hiring and working alongside autistic employees, further enhancing our understanding and commitment. If you or someone in your group has autism, let us know anyway in which we can tailor the experience to ensure it’s as enjoyable as possible. Respect and patience are at the heart of how we approach every interaction.

This certification puts Ohana at the top — not just for surf, but for how we show up for Hawai‘i every day. View Certificate
